Multi Level Marketing in World Wide Web is a wonderful business opportunity for those who want to have either an additional source of income or to find themselves in a new career that makes it so easy to balance home life and money making. Even though it has been considered for a business for women in the recent years,  MLM has been opening doors to the business for both women and men. Probably due to the low level of ambition and vague understanding that MLM is just as profitable as any other industry, if not more, it is only unfortunate that women in MLM have not been proportionately represented in MLM key leadership positions, still being the main money makers and driving force of the industry.  In contrast to what many think, MLM is not only for nursing mothers, retired women, and housewives taking care of the needs of their families.  There is a huge underrepresentation of purpose-driven business ladies in the leading roles and positions in today’s MLM market.
For the women who are new to the industry MLM may sound like Chinese but this simple acronym stands for Multi Level Marketing and has the essential meaning of Network Marketing. Thus, internet MLM is a type of Network Marketing and shares 90% of the same skills and experiences that are central to any marketing success. There will be some additional skills like computer literacy and basic analytical skills that will be necessary to success in internet MLM. But these are due to the technological nature of the web and are taken for granted by 90% of western women.  
However, for an absolute majority of women involved in MLM, the two most vital skills are already in place. The skills are flexibility to learn new things and patience in dealing with people. Women in MLM always have an edge over men thanks to exactly these two traits. Patience and desire to learn moves mountains in this industry and is a sure way to success.   Whereas men tend to expect to go from 50 USD per week to 5000 USD per week in just a few weeks, women realize and accept the fact that this 1000% growth could take up to a year. Being emotionally comfortable with such a timetable, women eventually achieve greater results.
However, I am about to give you some advice while you are considering MLM as your career. If you are comfortable with all of it, then this job opportunity is definitely for you:

1.    Do not be intimidated by the technological and ever changing nature of the internet. Occasionally you might have a feeling that you are lagging behind and can’t keep up with the latest technology and strategies in web MLM. You will see that there are new things daily, almost hourly, appearing in the vast ocean of internet. But you most learn how to swim in this ocean and that could take some time.
2.    It is always intimidating to put oneself in the spot light.    And you will need to learn how to make confident presentations, even videos of yourself. After all you are your own commercial director and manager, and no business hides its key representatives from potential customers. You are you own representative and if you don’t do it, no one will do it for you.
3.    Small talk is your tool and not your main activity. Spend just as much time as needed and no more making small talk with your clients. Try to get to the point once it’s relevant and natural.
4.    Finally, you will need people to help you.. After all, your company should grow. You need to predict when and what responsibilities you will need to delegate and outsource to others. If somebody can do it as well as you for cheaper hourly rate – outsource the task.

Amazingly, female led businesses are doing from 19% to 67% better than companies that are dominated by male type thinking only! Evidently, you can contribute to any MLM business, provided you show the best you know and learn what you can. Our society longs to equal representation not only in legal and social areas but in business too.. Have you ever thought whether we would have this financial crisis, had women presence been stronger at Wallstreet? You never know!
Women in MLM so often achieve success because they do not compare their results with others’ as much as men do. Women take their time and plan accordingly, aiming at personal success and at not public failure of rivals. Besides, successful women do not hesitate to ask and join together to help each other.
