Buying leads seems to be a good network marketing opportunity at least at first glance. The problem  actually goes a lot deeper: as long as you depend on someone else for leads, you are not in full control of your business. Leads purchase poses many risks and it is not the answer for what I would call a real network marketing opportunity.

Some companies pay people to be leads, then sell them to network marketers eager to make money, but the truth is that they couldn’t care less about the products you promote. You’ll just buy some tired lists that have already been sold dozens of times. There is one other category of lead sellers: those who sell very expensive leads. This group of sellers know what they are doing, and they provide access to really unique prospects, but they control the course of your business. You’ll no longer get leads if you stop paying.

The real network marketing opportunity appears to a self-sustaining company that does not rely on others for the main activities. Forget about getting rich quickly; that doesn’t happen too often. You can’t make a business very profitable in no time: it takes resources, time, effort and skills. The greatest decision you could make here is to develop the MLM business online.

Advertising your product on the Internet is a lot easier than it seems, particularly since you create relevant content for the promoted products. You will have to write articles and submit to web directories to spread the word about your business. The links included in the materials will then help web surfers navigate to your web site. A good network marketing opportunity does not appear too often in the real sense of the word. On the average only 1% of the web site visitors will turn into prospects.

Much of your success will depend on how skillful you are to attract customers and keep them interested. You should do your best to enhance the traffic level so that the chances for relevant visitors are favorable to you. This is as much as you can do to control and manage business well.

Unless you understand this simple plain truth, it is difficult to focus or search for the best network marketing opportunity, the best compensation plan or the best product.
